Computing Services
The information on this page explains the steps that new members joining
QTP need to take to make their computers fully functional.
Caution! As of 14 Dec. 2016 some of this material is out of date. We will update as time allows.
COMPUTER SERVICES AT QTP
- If you are a member of QTP who is being paid
by the University of Florida, your email, home file space,
and web file space will be provided by the CLAS IT services.

All members of QTP, visitors, and research associates
will need to perform their research computing activites on the UF HPC Center. Any visitor who needs wireless internet access, please see Jim Folks.
- All members and visitors of QTP who wish to use the two network printers in NPB 2308, will need to perform the printer configuration of these printers, explained in the
Computer Services Checklist.

- Email: These services are provide by UF
Enerprise Services. Call the UF Computing Help
Desk when you have a problem. Contact CLAS IT
below to request changes in service, such as request
definition of a new email group.

provded by
CLAS IT.

Contact CLAS IT for all requests and problems related to
desktops, network access, printers, and desktop
software. If your computer is a computer running CLAS IT
and managed by CLAS IT, they will install additional
software that you have obtained a license for through
UF Software Services
or through a departmental purchase.
